Joined the Orchard Park Fire Company in 1969 and Jerry is an active firefighter in the company. He has served the Fire Company as a Fire Lieutenant, Fire Captain, and Assistant Chief. 

Jerry also has years of service as a Buffalo Firefighter.  He retired from the Buffalo Fire Department in 1993 after 32 years of service. 

 In 2005, Jerry was elected to the Board of Fire Commissioners for Orchard Park Fire District and serves on several Committees within the District.
