Joined the Windom Volunteer Fire Company in 1975.  Bob has been an active member of the Company since joining and has served on several committees within the Company. He worked his way through the ranks achieving the rank of Chief in 1991.  Bob is currently a New York State Emergency Medical Technician.

       He has also served the Orchard Park Fire District as District Chief for 4 years.  He currently is a team leader for the District RIT unit (Rapid Intervention Team).  Bob was re-elected as an Orchard Park Fire District Commissioner for the Orchard Park Fire District in 2008 to serve as Commissioner in 2009.  Commissioner Simpson has achieved life member status in the Windom Volunteer Fire Company.
